If you are starting with 2 to 4 hens, the CC047 package is a great fit. For larger flocks of 6 to 12 hens, the CC058 package gives you the space they need. If you think your flock might grow, starting with the larger option is usually the better choice, since most keepers end up wanting more hens than they first planned.
Each package includes a hen house and run, a feeder, a drinker and a set of core accessories. The exact contents vary between packages, so check the individual product page before ordering. Some packages also include a hygiene or health product to help you start your coop maintenance routine from day one.
Feed is not included because of shelf life and delivery practicalities. Once your package arrives, you will want to have layers pellets ready for your hens. You can order these separately from our Poultry Feed and Treats range.
The packages are put together to keep things simple, but if you would like to swap or add something, get in touch before you order and we will see what we can do. We are happy to help with adjustments where we can.
Most keepers are up and running within a day. The coop takes around 2 to 4 hours to assemble. Feeders and drinkers need no assembly, so once the coop is built you are very nearly ready to welcome your hens.
