All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified. All prices are exclusive of postage and packing, unless otherwise stated. You can pay using most major credit and debit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Visa Delta, JCB, or paypal. Or you can pay by Bacs. We no longer accept cheque's.
All delivery prices are quoted on our order form. The price shown covers England Wales and some of Scotland, please see our delivery information page for further information for all other UK locations. If you require international delivery please contact us for a quote. Orders will normally be sent out the day following an order being received subject to it being in stock but please allow up to three days for delivery. If an urgent order is required please call us so we can make sure we can fulfill your order. Orders will be sent either by our carrier or Royal Mail. Some products such as our deluxe range will be sent on large lorry's that will require clear access to make the delivery, we will discuss this with you when shipping the goods, but if a smaller specialist vehicle is needed due to restrictions in your area there may be extra costs that you will need to pay before delivery is made.
When you receive goods from The Chicken House Company you shall inspect the goods and you shall notify The Chicken House Company if the goods are rejected within 48 hours of delivery.
All goods sold by The Chicken House Company shall remain the property of The Chicken House Company until fully paid for by the purchaser, notwithstanding that the risk in the goods has passed to the purchaser and notwithstanding that the buyer may not have possession of the goods.
The Chicken House Company makes every effort to keep the prices up to date. Errors can occur, however, and where this happens, The Chicken House Company will re-confirm prices prior to debiting your card.
A copy of your order will be shown on our website for your records and if you need a full VAT invoice we can email one on request.
When you receive goods ordered from The Chicken House Company, you have a statutory right to return the order within 14 days starting from the day AFTER the goods were delivered. We will refund the price paid as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from notification that you wish to cancel the order. This notification must be in writing, and will not be accepted in the form of a telephone call only. We will refund only the cost of the goods and not the original carriage cost paid, or in the case of FREE delivery we will deduct the amount it cost us to send the goods out. You must return the goods to The Chicken House Company. If you do not freely return the goods, at your cost, to The Chicken House Company then we may have to deduct any reasonable costs we incur in recovering the goods from you. This will be deducted from your refund. If you, the consumer, wish to return goods, you will return them at your own cost. We will refund the return carriage only if the goods are faulty or are incorrect. Where products supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. We may request goods to be returned for inspection prior to agreeing to any refund at your cost. If goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied we will refund any carriage costs incurred in returning the goods. For our deluxe units If you place a order and wish to cancel it you can within 7 working days of placing the order subject to a 50% cancellation charge as these units are built to order, there are no returns on this item as its built to order. Goods modified in anyway ie painted stained, or adjusted from the original supplied goods will not be able to be returned in any circumstances. ALL goods that are returned must be in the original packing unopened or used otherwise a refund will NOT be issued, unless the goods are faulty or damaged.
Should you have a complaint about any product purchased from The Chicken House Company or about our website please address this to: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us by post, telephone, or in person. We will review and acknowledge your complaint by email or letter within five working days.
Automatic confirmation of receipt of your order does not constitute a contract between us. A contract for the Sale of Goods shall only arise on the dispatch of the goods to you. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of the terms and conditions listed here.
For our express range of housing the units will normally be available from stock, if the unit is new to our range or waiting for delivery and you pre order we will advise on the approximate delivery date at time of ordering, if this is unacceptable you may cancel the order within 7 working days of placing the order. We will aim to supply the unit within the dates quoted but on occasions due to circumstances out of control there may be delays, we will update you of this and if these become unreasonable a alternative product may be offered or a refund. If you cancel your order after 7 days of placing your order or return your goods once delivered unused we will offer either a credit note to the full value of the order or a refund minus any carriage costs. For our deluxe units and Dog Kennels these built to order and the lead time will be shown on our website. If you place a order and wish to cancel it you can within 7 working days of placing the order subject to a 50% cancellation charge as these units are built to order after 7 working days there is no cancellation option.
Damages / Faults
When your goods arrive you must inspect the packing and if there is any sign of damage this must be noted on the courier delivery, ALL orders must be inspected within 48 hours and any damages or faults reported within that time. When you sign for the goods your signing that you accept the goods in good order. If damages or faults are reported after 48 hours the customer will need to pay for replacement parts and carriage of those parts. You must not modify or repair the goods before contacting us and agreeing a solution.
