CC047 2 to 4 Hen Chicken Coop

Fantastic poultry house and run ideal for the person who just wants a couple of hens in their back garden, excellent value, our best seller.

This chicken coop can also be used for Rabbits, Ferrets and cats.

This Hen House is the perfect entry level coop, made from CNC machined wood, and a heavy duty felt roof, the unit comes flat packed in built up sections with all the mesh, fittings etc all fitted for fast assembly.

This unit is supplied flat packed for easy home assembly.

Treatment - Although this product comes treated from the factory we recommend treating again within a month of assembly or if its winter ideally before use, with a good quality preserver ideally a oil / solvent based product like Barrattine, and repeat once or twice a year as necessary, this will protect the wood and help avoid mould spores forming in damp winter weather.

Instructions hard to follow; quality ok

It took me and my hubby (who is good with tools) 4 hours to build the chicken coop. The instructions are super hard to follow. It would be helpful if the pieces were numbered as per the instructions. Now, that we built it, it looks ok. the chicks are small, will go there in August.

Good budget coop

Great little house and run to get going with and ideal for our polish bantem chickens to live in and be safe. Love the design and the run. I wouldn’t fit my normal size girls in it and just made a few tweaks like the steps were too slide to get up and the roof blew open so needed a patch putting on however for the price and smaller chickens I really cannot fault it and would buy again.

POORLY MADE AND UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS

The instructions are difficult to understand and the parts are not that easy to identify.
The pre markings for screws are out of place and the parts don't actually fit that well.
The hinge on the nest box lid has already split the thin wood it is screwed into and one screw hole in the hinge actually places the screw in the join of two parts of the nest box.
I have built several chicken houses in the past and have never been this disappointed with the quality or build.
Would not recommend this item!
